earned professional degrees in Food & Beverage and Hospitality
Management. She received her B.S. in Hospitality Management
from Florida International University in Miami.

Miami that specializes in high-end weddings.
Upon returning to Mexico City, Pilar became the Editor-in-Chief of Seasons, a Mexican wedding and social events magazine.
One visit to Ensenada in 2004 was enough to identify the growing need for a truly professional wedding coordinator in the area,
and hence Ensenada Weddings was born.
Pilar's 12 years of industry experience, combined with her discipline, enthusiasm and desire to make her clients happy at all
costs, are qualities that have allowed Ensenada Weddings to position itself as the area's leading independent wedding
consulting and event planning company. Currently, Pilar works mainly in an advisory capacity, overseeing the operations of her
company, and coordinates a select number of weddings per year.

Public Relations and Banquet Services departments, building strong
relationships with top tourism organizations in the area and coordinating
weddings and corporate events.

authorities to successfully organize such internationally popular events as the Baja 500 and 1000 off-road races, the Newport
Beach to Ensenada Regatta, the Rosarito to Ensenada bicycle race, and the local Carnaval (Mardi Gras).
In 2004, she opened Jatay Tours, the first professional tourism company in Ensenada to provide customized bilingual tours
for individual visitors. As her company grew, she focused on Wine Country tours in the Guadalupe Valley area.
In 2005 she began collaborating with Ensenada Weddings as Transportation Manager, coordinating ground transportation
both locally and internationally between Southern California and Ensenada. She joined the Ensenada Weddings team as a
Wedding Planner in 2007 and has been assisting in the coordination of events and travel arrangements since her inception.

Our vendors are all industry veterans. We require that all our wedding pros have
more than five years of experience in their particular field of expertise. Additionally,
we only work with companies where we can deal directly with the owner.
We have been working with 90% of our vendors since 2004, and we have become
a family. Working successfully with a wedding vendor implies much more than
just paying him or her... We strive to provide a comfortable working environment for
our wedding pros, so they can give their highest level of service during your event.
